OEM stands for Original Equipment Manufacturer, which means that the maker of the cartridge, such as Epson, Canon, Lexmark or Brother produced the ink and the ink cartridge. Compatible inkjet cartridges are non-branded cartridges that have been manufactured according to the OEM specifications. Remanufactured cartridges are OEM cartridges that are refilled with ink or toner and their components cleaned and replaced to meet the OEM specifications.
Last, but certainly not least, by using remanufactured cartridges, you are helping to greatly reduce the environmental impact that occurs when single use cartridges are dumped into our landfill sites! Also, of course, the potentially huge savings you enjoy from using compatible and remanufactured cartridges in comparison to the OEM product is significant indeed!
Cartridge Solutions only supplies compatible and remanufactured cartridges of the highest quality. They are internationally renowned products, built to ISO9001 & ISO9002 Quality standards. The compatible inkjet cartridges we supply contain ink manufactured in the U.S.A., not sub-standard ink from other lesser quality sources which may cause print head clogging problems. These products will not void your printer warranty, and there is no history to indicate anything less then an equal standard of quality and print volumes to the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) equivalents.
Your warranty can not be voided as pointed out in the Australian Federal Trade Practices Act 1974. Details of the Acts and their amendments can be found through www.accc.gov.au and links to the different State departments can be found at www.accc.gov.au
Check and make sure there is ink or toner in your cartridge. In the case of tri colour ink cartridges, if one of the colours has run out or is getting on the low side, you may find that your print quality will deteriorate.
Another reason for poor quality pictures or text may be that in the case of an inkjet printer, your print heads may need a clean. If you are unsure of how to do this, consult the manual that came with your printer or alternatively, your printer's software usually has a maintenance tab that will have the option to clean the print heads of your printer. If the problem still occurs after 2 or 3 cleaning cycles, don't persist as you may damage the print heads. Contact your printer manufacturer for further help.
Almost all Australia Post Office outlets have Planet Ark bins that are perfect for your empty cartridges. Alternatively, you can drop them into our shop at 103 Loftus Ave, Loftus N.S.W. 2232.
